Seven Sisters

Spring is upon us and what better way to start it than with the great outdoors! Went on my first official hike #1 out of London ever since coming to the UK! Was amazingly refreshing getting away from the bustle of city life and immersing myself in peaceful solitude.

Start: Seaford
End: Eastbourne
Hiking Distance: 21km

Overview:
Walked to Black Friars Train Station and took the overground to Brighton (only cost £6 with a 16-25 railcard!). Hopped on Coaster 12/12A at Brighton and got off (unintentionally) at Seaford.

Hiked to Seven Sisters Country Park and hugged the Cuckmere River in direction of the sea. Got lazy and decided to do a river-crossing instead of backtracking to the bridge. Hiked along the Seven Sisters cliffs in direction of Beachy Head and finally towards Eastbourne.

Memorable Moments:
– Making friends with sheep
– River-crossing
– Picnic by the river bank
– Chalk Cliffs
