I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better summer! My summer of 2015 was spent in the Republic of Croatia, a summer-loving state located just north of the Mediterranean and bordered primarily by Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia and the Adriatic Sea.
“Made in Croatia” takes you on a journey through the region of Dalmatia and Croatia proper, heralded a beautiful blue-skied paradise and one of the top travel destinations in the world.
We start in the ancient city of Dubrovnik, featuring one of the best preserved medieval walled towns in the world and is renowned for its role in numerous key filming locations in the Emmy & Golden Globe nominated TV series “Game of Thrones”.
A couple of hours drive up north leads us to explore the pristine UNESCO national parks of Krka and Plitvice, home to crystal-clear turquoise lakes, gushing waterfalls and curious Copperhead snakes, brown frogs, European green lizards, electric-blue dragonflies, brown bears, lynxes and wolves if you’re lucky enough to see them!
Finally, the charming city of Split with over 1,700 years of history and host to ULTRA Music Festival (Europe), one of the best music festival’s in the world! I don’t really know what to say, but I guess the video speaks for itself. Enjoy!
